I am running Mac OS Sequoia 15.0 (the final release from the developer beta stream) on my MacBook Pro M2 Max. When I attempt to install the plugin from the PKG file, I get an error message that says, "The installation failed. The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance." I also tried the universal installer to see if that might work, but I got the same error. Any suggestions on what I might try to get it to install?

I had SR working PERFECTLY on my old PC (Win 10). Now I have a new Win 11 Pro. I've done a fresh install of OBS, then copied my backup from the old computer. Issues: NOW I...
I cannot get two recordings (I'm applying the filter to the scene with two cameras), not the cameras.
The MKV file "sticks open" (as is when I stop recording, it doesn't close the file.
OBS is crashing.

Some self correcting has been done.
The reason it wasn't releasing the file is that I had it set to "ALWAYS" be recording, not "when recording".
So I've mostly fixed the above issues with that bit of intellegence, BUT...
Now I'm getting two files, but they are the same.
I've got SR set in the scene level, not on the sources. When you have two cameras, how does it know which 'other' cameral to record?
I'm sssoooooo close to having this!!
(OBS Is still crashing)

Hello everyone. Yestereday one of my producers had an issue with the plugin. In addition to the main OBS recording of the livestream (which was fine) we run two different OBS source records on two scenes setup specifically for this purpose. The first one worked perfectly as usual, the second one recorded audio only and a black screen (to be clear, they are not identical scenes). The one that did not work was a browser source being sent by VDO Ninja.
Please advise what I could do to prevent this from happening in the future.

Plugins not loading in OBS 30.2.0
On pop_os 22.04, OBS 30.2.0 flatpak. I opened v30.2.0 for the first time to find all my plugins gone. My plugins folder was removed too. However, even after adding back the folder and restarting, the log is still showing directory as missing. What else should I do? Also, is there a way to...

So I recently added this plugin so I could record seperate souces when streaming. This is what I do:
I Start my stream Pressing the Start Button on my StreamDeck
Once I get to where I want to in the stream, I press my start recording button on StreamDeck (Button used F13 to start Recording)
Recording and Streaming are perfectly fine.
After my stream I press the stop streaming button again and press the stop recording button (Button used F14 to stop Recording)
Everything still seems fine until I close out of obs
I get an error saying that OBS has crashed and would I like a log.
Ive posted both Crash Log and Normal Log below.
Can someone tell me what the issue is and How I can stop it from happening in the future. Its just annoying when every time I lauch OBS it says OBS tells me when it previously crashed and how would I like to start it up.

Source-record is so amazing and fantastic! Thank you! I use it to capture a browser window displaying telemetry data from simulations like Gran Turismo 7, iRacing and ACC along with other source filters using source-record on a foot pedal cam and over the shoulder cam to see in the controller activities of a pilots race seat goings on and then the main display, A fair bit of recordings, but absolutely fantastic and makes for great quality streaming and recordings!
One thing that would be absolutely amazing would be to have a hotkey/trigger that embeds in the recordings metadata or marks the frames somehow for these triggers, to help with syncing and re-editing ( basically like a clapper for movies to sync audio/video/scenes, etc ) I see ffmpeg can embed metadata key value pairs, and would be so enthused if these could be embedded in the frames so things like kdenlive could use them or parse (or a separate program/tool) the recorded file to make a list of them.

Lately when my recording or stream is done, I will check the Source Record file the next day and it will play on VLC player but won't import into Davinci Resolve. On each recording I have 2 Source Record plugins running, one for my Gameplay and one for my Webcam. The Webcam Source works fine (is .mp4) but the Gameplay Source (.mkv) does not.
I switched my gameplay recently to .mkv due to issues of OBS freezing after hitting "STOP STREAMING" as that was recommended by others.
Any ideas?

no idea what a davinci resolve even is. Shouldn't you ask where ever that is from?

No, the file is not being rendered enough for it to be used in Davinci Resolve (video editing program). My other 2 rendered files work fine.

I have used this at my church for a while but very minimally mainly to get a second angle recording to make clips for our social media. I was just curious if there was a way to record just audio or make an mp3 recording directly with this plugin or if anyone knows of another plugin that may be able to do that? I know i can convert the video into mp3 with other programs but id like to be able to do an mp3 recording of the audio directly from obs

Maybe this is a dumb question. But is there a way to trigger source record to begin recording without having to do start stream/record?
The issue I'm trying to solve is that if I do start recording, source control begins recording(perfect) but OBS also begins recording the entire scene.

I try to make this work, I have the plugin on two sources. One for webcam with audio from my microphone and one from desktop and audio from the game. Once I start the game, the recording of the screen stops, only the webcam recording continues and I couldn't figure out why. Both have same settings.

Spotted Glitch in 0.3.4
Strangely enough, one of the 2 sources was recorded with both sources instead of only itself.
The other source was recorded correctly as well as the common video (in Settings).
It is a glitch because it doesn't occur always. But on that particular case it did, ruining everything.
The interview mus be remade and because the interviewee is not available now, it is postponed by 2 months (so you can understand the degree of damage).
It's really annoying and it makes the script not sufficiently reliable. So it needs each time a supervision.
My customer that's using it, has a NVIDIA Quadro P1000 as video card
64GB RAM
Processor AMD Ryzen 5
