OBS crashing GPU/Hanging PC on launch

The same problem. Everytime I start a stream via x264 or AMD HW it crushes randomly and blacks out both of monitors. Win 11 doesn't report any problem and AMD software says it was a driver error. Driver version doesn't matter neither for GPU or OBS.

GPU RX7900XTX
CPU 5900X
MB MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS
Latest Windows 11
OK guys, I think I figured it out in my case. Two months without a single issue. I had 3600Mhz XMP profile on my system, and had no idea it could affect video driver. So I just switched to 3200Mhz and everything works fine rn. I hope this will help you.

Same problem here, i just reinstalled windows 11 hoping that would fix the problem but the gpu driver still crashes when opening OBS for the first time after boot. OBS crashed as i opened it for the first time after installing it so it's not a problem related to plugins. The only programs i installed other than OBS are Equalizer APO, Discord, Steam and Firefox.

Pc specs:
-Ryzen 5 5600x
-b450 tomahawk max
-16gb Ram
-Rx 580 4gb

Windows 11 pro
OBS version 31.0.2
GPU driver version 25.5.1
For those with an rx580 or similar gpu, reverting to radeon driver 23.5.2 solved my problem, hopefully it works for you too.
Every driver version from 23.7.1 onwards causes the crash, so i'm guessing the problem is caused by the vulkan extensions added in 23.7.1
