OBS Studio is a tool to composite sources... so 2 cameras only if you want to separate camera views
BY default OBS Studio only outputs to a single stream source.... but if you are referring to capturing (local recording) of other applications, then you will use Window or Display capture, presumably... and which apps are displayed often isn't all that important (in general, yes when it comes to optimization)
