Loudness Dock Plugin 0.4.0

This is an experimental release of EBU R128 Loudness Dock plugin for OBS Studio.

Changes in this release
  • Added several new features
    • Optionally abbreviate labels for small dock window.
    • Added tab-bar to switch multiple loudness calculations for separated pause/reset/reset control and tracks. To use this feature, open the setting dialog and add a tab.
    • Added automated triggers by start/stop recording/streaming.
  • Minor changes
    • Separated unit column to align digits vertically.
    • Increased frequency of updating bars and digits.
  • Building flow changes
    • Dropped building flow for OBS Studio 27

  • Not all binaries are tested.
    • Windows: 0.2.0 was tested with the nightly OBS Studio.
    • MacOS: 0.2.0 was tested with the nightly OBS Studio on Intel mac.
    • MacOS: 0.2.2-rc1 was tested with OBS Studio 31.0.0-beta3 on Apple Silicon.
    • Ubuntu: 0.2.0 was tested with the nightly OBS Studio on Ubuntu 22.04.
    • The source code is developed mainly on Fedora 40.

  • Fix frequency of displaying the loudness; momentary and short-term loudness values will be updated every 0.1 second.
