Bug Report Windows Left/Right Audio Switches When Recording

I used OBS for a while and then took a break for a month or two. Now I start recording again and whenever I do all of a sudden my audio is switched. By that I mean left is now right and right is now left. This is not just in the game or on the recording. This is in windows itself. After recording and closing the program, if I go to sounds in control panel and configure my headset, when I click left it plays in the right and vice versa. A strange problem to occur and also quite a disorienting one in a FPS. I am running Windows 7 64bit and am using a Corsair Vengeance 1500 headset. Any suggestions?

I unfortunately do not have speakers to test this. I might be able to borrow some from someone to test this in the next couple of days. All I know is that I can record with ShadowPlay just fine but with OBS, which I prefer, the audio randomly switches. Like I said, I'll ask a buddy if I can borrow his speakers tomorrow or the day after and see what comes of it.

Ok ^_^ Keep looking at the forum post though. There might be someone who can answer it who knows OBS way more better than me.

Oddly just tried the 32 bit exe and it didn't switch my audio... Heres hoping that works every time. Will post an update either later tonight or tomorrow.

64 bit isnt that reliable. you should always use 32 bit even if you`re on a 64 OS. Glad the problem is fixed!

Glad you got it fixed. Yea, typically this has to be a driver or system issue.

*edit - woops, didn't realize you had it fixed when I posted.
