Hey Guys,
I was trying to find if anyone had a similar issue as me in these forums but I couldn't find anything by searching or scanning the first few pages of bugs.
Basically the issue i am having is that I capture a windows application using window capture. The window shows up fine the first time and works as expected. However, if I close that window, and it is reopened again on my PC, it no longer will show up on the scene.
I'm developing my own windows app using vb.net, that I'm passing parameters to using irc scripts, essentially i am going to be making all of my own pop up overlays for new followers, subs, now playing music etc. However, I've run now into this issue where windows capture doesn't seem to auto-update if the application is closed and then reopened.
Is this a known bug? It happens to me with Aero Disabled or Enabled, I am using Windows 7 64 bit OS. I also tried ticking Captured Layered Windows as well, it doesn't seem to help either. I am also using the 64 bit version of OBS.
The only thing i could think of is that window capture uses the PID of the application that is running at the time and if its closed and reopened it uses a new PID # and OBS is looking for the first one you created the window app for?

Shane aka Turok.
