Why colors look grayish

when i record a video the colors look grayish or whitish
that happens when i record with Windows HDR ON
i tried changing color space/color range
tried to add color filter to the Display capture

The OBS color setting has to match Windows which isn't as easy as it sounds!

I would use regular 8 bit color in Windows and record in SRGB

I've spent a lot of time exploring different color formats and spaces. For me, the best option turned out to be I444 and Rec 709, but I do not know if it works well with HDR, so I continue to experiment. Also, I do not know what the settings for SDR and HDR are responsible for. I can only advise you to try different combinations and make recordings from the game, and then compare them to find a suitable solution.
