Bug Report Trouble with window capture

whenever I try to capture just a small area with window capture it always shows the window that is on top and not the one that I have selected. I've enabled and disabled aero but it doesn't change anything. There's probably something simple I don't know about, but I can't find any solution for this anywhere, so a little help would be nice.

Are you sure you are using an aero theme? The setting in OBS only lets you force aero disabled, however if you're not using an aero theme in general the setting will have no impact.

Also with "whenever I try to capture just a small area with window capture" do you mean it works when capturing the full window? In any case you need to make sure not to minimize the windows you're capturing.

Also be sure to give us a log file, that way it is more easy for others to help you

Okay, so when I unchecked the disable aero box, it didn't actually enable the aero, so this morning when I redid it, it worked like a charm. Thanks for the help.
