Question / Help Switching Scenes makes Monitor Capture black

Hello, I've recently noticed something that I recall not happening in older versions of OBS, though my memory might serve me wrong. When switching scenes, Monitor Capture only shows a black screen for a couple of seconds before showing the actual captured image and I vaguely recall not having this issue in older versions of OBS. Does anyone else have a similar issue or knows a workaround? This issue combined with OBS Scene Switcher doesn't make for a pleasant viewing experience.

Nevermind, I'm just stupid. I have to make a Global Monitor Capture. I guess this feature didn't exist when I first started using OBS?

Global sources have existed for a long time. I'm not sure why it worked before, but you do need to make a source into a global source if you want to use it in multiple scenes with no lag between switches.

Also, if you're on Windows 7 or Vista, make sure Aero is disabled when using Monitor capture.

I run W8, so that's not an issue. Not entirely sure how I could've forgotten about it then. :p
