Hi there! I installed OBS for the first time earlier today, and everything was working swimmingly. My capture card is connected to my video game console, and I was successfully broadcasting a few things during some tests. However, upon fiddling around with some profiles in the settings (I was re-naming a profile - nothing too dangerous), OBS started to crash.
Upon more testing, the crash always occurs when trying to preview or broadcast anything when my Video Capture Device (capture card hooked to my gaming console) is set as one of the Sources. If removed from my Sources, OBS will not crash. Therefore, it is safe to say that it has something to do with how OBS is dealing with my Video Capture Device input as a Source.
I tried uninstalling and re-installing OBS, as well as all profiles and third-party plugins and whatnot (basically a clean re-install). I also re-installed the drivers for my capture card. The problem still persists for some strange reason, despite this exact same setup having worked just hours prior. I do not believe the problem lies with my capture card, because other software are able to input and read my capture card successfully without issues.
