Question / Help Streaming lag, 2.2mb/s

Hi,

I have been having lag problems with my stream, when getting into fights while playing Quake.

my specs are:

AMD 965BE Stock CLock
4GB RAM
7950 AMD

40 mbps Down
2 mbps UP

My ping just sky rockets if I use anything above 1000 kbps. plz help

Hmm, that log is of you using 1000 or 1350 bit rate, and no dropped frames...can you post a log where you were using a higher bit rate that caused you to drop frames and lag?

Well I guess not dropped frames, but definitely lower framerates. Goes from 125 - 100 and feels VERY sluggish, and in a fast game like Quake thats a big deal. Also, my ping will go from 30 - 100 in a firefight. Also no good. I guess I was posting to see if there are better recommended settings I could try...I just dont really want to lose a ton of quality.

Have you tried the Minimize Network Impact setting?
