Hey guys. Yeah its another one of these posts but I'm having some troubles and hoping maybe you guys know some help. Trying to stream out some games and on My dashboard I can see the stream skipping and lagging, and dropping frames. Just to make sure I went back into the recorded videos to watch over what happend and sure enough the skips and lags are there. Now I had just recently finished streaming out Bioshock Infinite with the settings I'm gonna link, but when I went over to Tomb Raider and Arkham City, the skipping and frame loss has been incredible. It's making me worried cause I want to stream out FFXIV:ARR when it launches and don't think I'll be able to if I cant even stream these two games out properly. Anyway lets get to the technicals.
My PC specs:
I7 3770k @3.5g (OC to 4.5g)
asus z77 Sabertooth Mobo
Nvidia GTX 570 (so wish I could get a newer one but yeesh the prices)
16g 1600mhz DDR3 ram
So spec wise, everything should be good to go right, except maybe the older gpu but what can i do.
Internet Speed:
http://testmy.net/compID/61610764742
26 down and 4 up. Admittedly yes the upload is low compared to other people I hear about but I can blame Shitcast for that. Even still I can still get a 720p stream out of that and I know I can.
Log File:
This last log was only a 3 minute test on Tomb Raider. It was in the Mountain Village, daylight, with no weather affects at the time, no action going on, hell no animals or persons other than Lara. Just had her running around, jumping, firing some arrows. Not much really going on but still lost frames and could definetly see the skipping on the dashboard.
So my settings aren't really too harsh I think they are quite fair to the system and upload, but for whatever reason the stream just says nope, not gonna work like you want me to. I get those frame losses at 2000kb and the higher in bitrate I go the worse the frames drop. Oh and in case your wondering, I use the Chicago server for Twitch as that is the closest to me as I live in Illinois. According to JVTVPing its one of the better servers to use. Also I dont put the games in there ultimate/extreme settings. I usually leave them in a mid to high lvl graphic settings. In any case I hope someone can shed a little light on why the stream is being an asshat about what I got going on in my system. Any help would be greatly appreciated and Thank You in advance.
