Bug Report Stream sometimes flashes white repeatedly

My twitch stream sometimes flashes white repeatedly while using OBS to stream. Examples can be seen at around timestamp 4:30 http://www.twitch.tv/thewutangrza/b/447835676

log file: http://pastebin.com/huijnRuk

I believe the final streaming session to be the one where the flashing was occurring.

Any ideas?

When I first launched OBS I was running 800x600, then I stopped stream and switched to 640x480, not sure if that was the cause or not. I'll make sure to launch and stay in the same res next time and see if the same happens.

edit: Changing resolution wasn't the problem, as the same phenomenon can be seen here when I was running 800x600 (the resolution OBS was launched in): at around 3:25 in http://www.twitch.tv/thewutangrza/b/447815588

Is the game you are playing in fullscreen mode? Monitor capture tends to flash when capturing games in fullscreen mode. You have to capture with the game in windowed or borderless mode, or use game capture.

Cool-looking game, by the way...I loves me some bullethell shooters.

Yeah, I've been trying to avoid using game capture, but I guess I'll probably go that route. This is running on an arcade cabinet which runs multiple emulators and each Touhou game (that bullet hell one) is a separate exe and Hyperspin is the front end which is also running.

Oh well, guess I can just bite the bullet and add all those exe's to the game capture section. Question to you or anyone else that may know the answer, if I have two exe's running that are both in the game capture list, what happens? Can I have one as "always below"? The reason I ask, Hyperspin is a front end that allows me to scroll through emulators/games I own, it's always running. Once I choose a game from the list, it goes into the background and uses AHK to launch the selected title.

I suppose I can just try it out, but just curious if I should even bother adding Hyperspin to the game capture list or not.
