Bug Report "Stream or file output unfinished"

For the last two weeks, occasionally I've had OBS telling me on attempt to close that the stream or file output is unfinished and prompting me to give it 15 seconds to finish. When I go to look at the video recorded, however, the video file is completely unplayable. I should note also that this has only been happening very recently, I've used OBS for almost a year before this without problem. I realise there's unlikely to be a way to recover the footage, but I can't go on losing 4 or 5 hours of recording every other day.

It's happened a number of times over the course of two weeks, I've restarted both my computer and the program a number of times in between occurrences.

Same problem here :(
After hours of fiddeling around with this error (corrupts the stream, too)

PHEW!!

Seems to happen on completely irregular basis. Try to hunt this down to reproduce this but couldn't find the cause for it. Happend in 30% of all cases.

We downgraded to 0.637 and everything is stable again.

BTW: How to disable the update notifications? Couldn't find the option.
