Hello!

I'm fairly new to streaming. I have been trying to stream to Twitch for the past couple days on my Mac desktop computer (running Yosemite 10.10.5) and when I check the preview, it's a black screen with functioning audio, but it says "LIVE". Is there a fix for this? I'm running the latest version of OBS (0.14.2). I also have a Mac Book Pro 2008 running Lion and for some reason it works with a ton of lag.

OBS 0.14.2 is absolutely ancient. The latest version is 20.0.1. That said, it will almost certainly not run (or run well) on a nearly ten year old machine, and has probably never been tested on Lion. Many users on Mavericks report the app unusable and crash-prone on that version.

If you can't upgrade, try something in the 0.16-0.18 range.
