Hello guys,

I am trying to stream to Twitch.tv and I am able to, but every few minutes the connection drops. I have seen similar problem w/o a solution or solutions that did not fix it for me, here goes my specs and logs:

I am using very low settings and still having the drop connection issue, maybe the problem have to do with this line 17:33:54: RTMPPublisher::SocketLoop: Aborting due to bStopping.

If anyone could point me to the right direction I apreciate =]

Thank you very much!

Do not take this the wrong way but... it's just not enough. 660 Kbps is nowhere near enough to stream. Not even at 240p, 25 FPS, Q-0. Even mathematically it simply does not work.

Just to demonstrate -- http://www.twitch.tv/kharay1977/c/2562178 -- recorded just now, for you. To illustrate something. The quality may be acceptable but that is mostly because it is a very old game that has a very low resolution of its own. But, the stream is in 300 pixels at 25 FPS, Quality-0 and 660 Kbps (OBS settings). And not once did the actual bitrate drop below 735Kbps. Meaning 660Kbps simply can't be done, realistically.

Sorry.

I watched the videos and understand the issue with the up rate, also thanks for that ;)

My up rate could be the cause with twitch.tv disconnecting but I just did some streaming to instagib.tv with higher quality, granted the quality wasnt the best 720p but it worked, that means that the problem is on twitch.tv side of things or the way it expects OSB to stream or maybe they just drop low band folks but it is twitch.tv related.

I kept streaming to instagib.tv and the quality wasnt stable at all, sometimes really good, most of the time poor. So this could be twitch.tv droping low band streams, anyway, this is not OBS bug so for anyone that lands here looking for a solution, check other streaming services like instagib.tv and check your up rate, if all that fails you have a different problem.
