Hi, I recently wanted to start streaming again because I hadn't done it in awhile and wanted to play some games with friends who were also streaming. Nothing about my setup has changed in the past year and a half, same laptop, settings and everything. The only major difference was that I switched over to using OBS instead of SLOBS because of the issues I started having when I tried to stream yesterday. Constantly, my stream would abruptly end, restart and begin once more, to the tune of roughly 40 times within an hour and a half. I assumed that it might have been an issue with SLOBS since I always heard people say that it was a lot more taxing, so I switched over to OBS, and today when I tried streaming once more, the same tune. Constant disconnects and reconnects, although I was lucky occasionally, with one instance lasting 40 minutes and another 20, but no other ones lasting past 15 minutes.
I have been toying around with my settings, running test broadcasts on and off for the past four hours, went and bought myself an ethernet cable (which someone ending up making my connection worse somehow), uninstalling Killer Ethernet Performance Suite, installing only the hardware drivers, and it just hasn't fixed anything.
Despite all this, stream inspector and OBS's own log analyzer haven't really revealed any major issues to me and I haven't been able to figure out what's wrong. The only critical issue I had was when I tried playing Marvel Rivals and I had hardware accelerated GPU Scheduling turned on, but disabling that, restarting and trying again didn't solve anything. I'm at a complete loss and I really need help figuring this out. At this point it's more out of spite than anything because I just don't get what's going on and what I could do to solve it. Any kind of help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
