Sound Capture on MacOS26

Hey guys,

my OBS works again (don't crash after boot) but it won't recognize any sounds beside my mic or capture card.

The Application Audio Capture won't work if you switch to another application.

Would be glad if there is any help for it since I'm happy it's working again.

Me too, OBS 31.0.4 no sound recordings on mac os 15.5; suggestions?

Give loopback a try. https://www.rogueamoeba.com/loopback/
Lets you capture anything (app or audio device) into as many custom virtual devices that you need.
I've been using it for years. While I haven't tried it on macos 26, you can give it a try - the website says it should work.

This is the way. I started using loopback years ago, and briefly tried the OBS audio capture feature. However, I found it not as reliable as Loopback has been.
