Would it be possible to do this, or is it a matter of Twitch's API? It'd be useful for people who stream different games or who stream different variations on games to not have to go into Twitch's dashboard through a clunky web browser that runs even slower when a game is running.

It's not an existing feature at the moment, but I might see this becoming a possibility once streaming services are modularized in code. In the meantime, check out paibox's Twitch Dashboard Lite tool: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2288
