Question / Help Recommended console streaming devices

I'm looking into streaming my PS3, what device do you guys suggest I should use? I'd like something that would give me good quality but not break the bank.

I recommend the Happauge HD PVR or the Elgato, both have great quality, but the PVR is not yet supported by OBS.
Another thing is that the PVR does not support HDMI, the Elgato does.

If you mainly wants to stream, you better can use a Blackmagic or Elgato (I preffer blackmagic cause I got one and i'm really pleased with it)

If you also want to record you can use either a HD PVR or Elgato (Blackmagic gives huge output sizes)

But you cant capture with HDMI on a PS3 right ?

I'm an Xbox/PC guy, so I have no idea.

PS3 has HDCP, so you can't capture HDMI with it. You have to get some sort of bypass or use component, I believe.

My Avermedia works fine with PS3 HDMI, I'm not sure of the black magic at work there
