Problems with video multimedia sources in OBS 31.1.2

I have a big problem with local video media sources. Sometimes it struggles to show the video itself, and when the video finally appears, the audio cannot be heard. Even trying to create a media output device with BlackHole does not solve the problem.
I can't tell if it is due to wrong settings (but I haven't made any big changes from the default settings) or is it due to the programme.
I am on Sequoia 15.6.1 and the latest OBS version.
The current configuration is dedicated to recording
Can anyone help me better understand what to do?

I am having the same problem also. I can get video and no sound at all. I can't livestream at all because I have no sound.
