Hello everyone,
I need your help and support. I recently purchased a new laptop, namely an Asus Rog Strip G-17 G713pi-ll122 with such specification as:
-AMD RYZEN 9 7945 HX;
-NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 (140W);
-32 gb RAM;
-1TB SSD.
The first stream on OBS was okay, no FPS drops in games and videos.
The next day I launched OBS and turned on the scene with the captured monitor, but without starting the broadcast or recording the video. I noticed that the sound that was present when watching videos on YouTube was crackling and in general sometimes it seemed that the laptop was slowing down a little.
Additionally, Armoury Crate lags a lot when capturing the entire monitor in OBS.
The most interesting thing is that during lag moments and in general during screen capture, the load on the entire system is negligible.
In modern games, the FPS is stable on high and ultra graphics settings.
I tried resetting the obs to default settings and also configured various options, but it doesn’t work.
I would be happy to hear your feedback.
Have a good day
