Hello everyone,
Thanks for this great free tool first. Unfortunately I'm having problems with OBS lately, especially when streaming a game called Mechwarrior Online. It wasn't happening earlier but started 2 weeks ago when both MWO and Nvidia drivers were updated.
MWO runs on Cryengine 3 and after login it opens a 1280x720 windowed "Mechlab" client where you configure your mech and search for a match. After it finds a match, it switches to fullscreen. After a match, it returns to the windowed mechlab. This is when crashes occur, when the game switches from fullscreen to windowed or vice versa. After a crash occurs, it's very hard to get OBS streaming again(it crashes as soon as I click stream). I either have to relaunch the MWO client which fixes the problem for a few rounds, or restart my computer fully. If I can get OBS to work, another crash happens after a few rounds again. One thing I noticed is, sometimes when OBS crashes my in-game text becomes garbled.
I'm using gamecapture on a laptop by the way, OBS is set to run on Nvidia card and the first video adapter is selected in OBS settings. Window capture doesn't have this crash, but then I get terrible FPS.
I have tried reinstalling MWO, OBS and doing a fresh Nvidia driver install. It'd be great if you can take a look at my dump files.
