Bug Report OBS crashing when trying to play ESO

Hello!

I was running the game and streaming/recording fine before with Elder Scrolls Online, but now it crashes when I try to preview or even just stream/record. The only they I have changed is running OBS in administrator mode because it wasn't working with my Steam games, so I just set it to do so everytime.

I'll upload my crash report and my log from that report. Thanks!

This is actually a known issue that happens from time to time on laptops. I don't know quite how often it happens though. Is this happening every time for you? Drivers are a factor for this, because this is a driver issue at some level I believe. Laptops tend to be somewhat unstable with capture tech, I don't think nvidia really puts their laptop drivers through rigorous testing with capturing stuff.

I know all my drivers are up to date for sure. And I was able to use OBS with the game capture before just fine with Elder Scrolls Online, just suddenly it started crashing OBS when I booted up the game, or when I booted OBS up after starting the game. I've used the game capture since on other games and it's worked fine. Just with ESO. It's odd.

Very strange.. I really need to get in contact with nvidia somehow some time. Well anyway, if you need a workaround for this, then just run the game in a borderless/windowed mode, and use window capture instead. Then it should capture.
