To start off I was streaming fine for 3 days in a row using the 32bit version and the avermedia gl310 portable lite capture card. I know the basics and was able to stream no problems yesterday. I have no clue what has changed.

Looks like the DirectShow plugin is crashing, which makes me think it's a problem with one of your video capture device sources (e.g. a webcam or capture card). Are you using a device like this? If so, which one(s)? Does OBS still crash if you make a scene without the device?

I said in the original post that I am using a gl310 avermedia portable lite capture card. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough about that. So do you think it's just went faulty all of a sudden?

That's your only video capture source, no webcams or anything? Does OBS still crash if you make a scene without the device?

It doesn't crash without using the device - I shoulda said that. No webcam no more devices. I use a splitter though too so I can record the xbox dashboard - it prevents no signal.

Since it was working before I assume he's using Stream Engine. I'd recommend uninstalling all of the AVerMedia software for the device, then searching your C drive for any folders with "AVerMedia" in the name and manually deleting those too. Then download and reinstall the latest drivers/firmware/Stream Engine from
http://gamerzone.avermedia.com/products/live_gamer_series/lgp_lite/download/en and see if things work again. You might want to disable your antivirus software during this process to make sure it doesn't screw up what you're trying to install.
