Basic Explanation
The other night, I was attempting to record several Skype calls on monitor capture, but each time I tried to Stop Recording, OBS crashed. I have since updated several settings after reviewing my Log Analyzer: switching from 60 fps to 30 fps, selecting the Nvidia Processor as my preferred graphics processor on the Nvidia Control Panel, changing my recording file type from mp4 to flv, updating my Encoding Settings to the following (http://puu.sh/i0Pja/701205f8f3.png), and updating my Advanced Options Settings to the following (http://puu.sh/i0PkB/a751ca24b3.png). I know that Monitor Capture is not ideal, but Skype is not showing up as an available application under either Window or Game Capture. I also know that changes I have made since the problem occurred may prevent future crashes, but I would like some input on anything else I may be missing before doing further tests. I have a Lenovo Ideapad Y410P laptop and am running Windows 8.
