Bug Report Obs Crashes on Stop recording

Hi,

I've been using Obs for months now, without any issues. I installed an update the other day, and now since the update, Obs crashes when I stop recording. Obs just goes to not responding before eventually terminating with an Obs Crashed error.

This causes the video to not be closed off, and means there is no recording at the end.

I have attached the crashDumps and the log files for the error.

Thanks for the detailed crash dumps, unfortunately I wasn't able to figure out why it was deadlocking. As you seem to be able to reproduce this quite consistently on a well-specced non-laptop system, would you be available for a remote debugging session some time? This would involve me connecting to your computer with a remote debugger or via desktop sharing (like teamviewer) to try to resolve this.

That's not a problem. I can reproduce very consistently, every time I record something currently. :) I just had a thought also that windows has updated itself to the new 8.1Update1 or whatever, so this may also be a factor. Drop me a PM and we can arrange something :)

Sorry for the double post, don't know the rules on editing etc for these forums :)

I have attached an additional zip file. In this is a text file with the Application Logs from event viewer regarding Obs errors, and I added my profiles as well. There may be something in there that gives you a clue.

You say it crashes when you stop recording, but none of your logs actually show your computer encoding any frames. Can you post a log of a time when you recorded for a while (five minutes should be fine), then it crashes at the end? Cause right now it looks like it never actually starts encoding in the first place.

Also, this is a strange base resolution:

20:07:49: Base resolution: 1360x768

What are you capturing?
