Bug Report OBS crash during Game Capture

I have been running OBS with an Elgato no problems for three weeks. However have recently tried to record a game of Stardew Valley using the "Game Capture" which unfortunately instantly crashed the software. The crash is reproducible on Stardew Valley, but not on other full screen games such as Typing of the Dead Overkill (this just makes the computer freeze up but doesn't reproduce the full OBS crash).

Usually it would be fine just using the Window Capture, but I'm wanting to also use Window Capture on chat and alert overlays in the game which makes it a bit of an issue.

Have downloaded OBS Studio, it doesn't seem to crash but just leaves a black screen. Have also tried running Steam and Game as Administrator as discussed on the OBS Studio Support, but doesn't seem to fix the problem. Should I be opening a new thread on OBS Studio Support?
