Bug Report OBS causes no N64 controller input

I just got myself an N64 adapter for a birthday present because I've been wanting to start speedrunning some N64 games. Went alright but when I went to stream it today I encountered a really weird problem. Whenever I tried to capture Project64, my controller went dead. No control stick or button input registered. Even when I close OBS and P64, I still have to plug my adapter back in to get input back. P64 can run the games fine without OBS, but whenever I use Window or Monitor Capture, I can't do anything.

Computer Specs:
Processor: Intel i7 @2.9 GHz
RAM: 8GB
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 450- 1GB
OS: Windows 8.0
Adapter: Mayflash N64 Controller Adapter
Controller: First-party original N64 controller- Atomic Purple

Have you tried a different USB port?

Sounds like something is up with your USB controller, or perhaps it is getting saturated if you have lots of USB devices active.

Looks like oversaturation was the issue. I unplugged the webcam and it started working again. Thanks for the help!

If you keep the webcam plugged in but lower its resolution in OBS (open the source properties and select Custom Resolution) then it might still work.
