OBS Always asks for Safe Mode?! (OBS 31.1.2)

Hello!

Whenever I open OBS it says it wasn't properly closed and asks if I want to enter Safe Mode or Normal Mode, even if I just click on the X bottom to close it as every other program in the computer.

I don't have to be streaming or anything, by just opening and closing it, it is as if it had crashed.

It's frustrating because any change I make on it (like new panels or anything) are not saved because it crashed)

This is the log file: https://obsproject.com/logs/AxwDpw2LPwevfYH4
And here is the analysis: https://obsproject.com/logs/VatCROZEDEJl7Dsk

I really couldn't find a solution aside from adding a script to the shortcut that disables the screen on startup, but it doesn't fix the problem of things not saving because it is lie it crashes everytime.

Does anyone have the same problem?

Hello,
Just installed the app and get the same issue... I am unable to recover the Previous Log File as a message states: getaddrinfo() thread failed to start.
I attempted twice to install with the same result.

I was experiencing OBS 31.1.2 crashing when I closed the application. However, after I renamed "Profile:Untitled" the untitled to a new name it no longer crashed. Go figure. I'm hoping this can help someone. All the best!

Many thanks. I am awaiting loading the updates for the new version and have my fingers crossed

I just set up a new computer and I am having this same issue.

It's definitely someting to do with the scene collections.
When I change scene collections, it crashes. When I rename one, it crashes. When I close OBS, it crashes.
