I recently installed OBS-Studio on Debian Bookworm. I am using the Nvidia-tesla-470 driver. I can get screen capture and video feed to work in the preview but when I try to start recording I get a message: "Failed to start recording. Failed to open NVENC codec: Generic error in an external library".
I'm assuming my 10 year old gpu and/or the driver is the problem.
If anyone has any general advice for the best way to troubleshoot this issue I would appreciate it, or alternative recording software that might work for me, I don't need to stream anything.
