Question / Help No video playback when Live on Twitch/no Monitor Capture option

Hey guys,

I've been interested in attempting to livestream art, specifically tablet drawings. However, I've been hitting obstacles at every turn and I will probably need a good amount of help as I am very new to using OBS and not the best with technology. I'll attach the relevant log post at the end.

These are the two biggest problems I've had so far:

1) I heard about "Monitor Capture", which seems like a convenient option as the brushes weren't visible when I was trying to stream Facebook Live (Opencanvas 5.5.20). However I can't seem to access it at all. Is there something I need to enable first to access this setting?

2) I attempted to stream on Twitch due to FB's (IMO) stupid copyright policy concerning listening to music; music usually helps me with focus. The playback shows no audio/video playback and I want to know if it was simply poor connection or if there was an issue with any of my settings.

Here is the most recent log:

Thanks in advance for your help!

1. You're using Studio, not classic, but you posted in the Classic forums (not the end of the world, but classic is dead, so that reduces the visibility of your request).
2. Don't use the OpenGL renderer. Put that back to Direct3D.
3. If you're new to OBS Studio, the community has created some resources for you to use. Check out our Overview Guide at https://goo.gl/PvbCXD and Nerd or Die's video guide at http://goo.gl/dGcPZ3
4. In Studio it's called "Display Capture".
