No audio when playing a DV cassette on OBS in Windows 10, how to fix that?

Maybe a strange problem to ask here, but i'll try...

I have some old tapes i would like to digitalize using OBS. While the video displays fine with colors etc, i get no audio. I've done this before, but that was so many years ago that i've forgotten what i must do in order to get audio to work...

The audio (and ofc the video too) works fine on the camcorder itself (when i flip-out the its screen), but i just cannot get the audio to work in OBS...

I have a sony dcr130e, connected to a cheap plexgear moviesaver 600 with a mini jack to 3 rca-cable (from the A/V OUT on my camcorder) that's then connected to my pc. This method is what i have used before.

I've not muted anything.

In OBS, i have tried to turn on Monitor and Output in Audio Monitoring in Adv. Prop., but no success...

I have other files on my pc, so the audio works fine on my windows 10 pc.

Any ideas on how i can get the audio to work on my pc as well?

My recommendation - get this working at Operating System (OS) level first (specifically - OBS not started/running)
Microsoft has made lots of audio subsystem changes over the years.
the basic troubleshooting is
- is audio (not just video) making it from DV tape to computer? your steps above do NOT indicate checking for this specifically. assumptions are what always get us into trouble... so don't assume something that worked before is working now (OS, driver changes, failed cheap h/w, etc)
- for example, instead of plugging into PC, have you plugged that RCA cable into a TV ? if that works, confirms signal going out... does NOT confirm PC at Operating System level understanding/processing that input. check/confirm at OS layer first. do NOT skip this step.

Once confirmed audio working at OS layer, then time to confirm Windows OS permissions for audio components (ie does OBS have access to that device? don't assume it does). Then, and only then, look into OBS settings/config
And if after doing all of the above, OBS Studio help is desired, don't ignore pinned post in the forum (linked in my .sig) regarding posting OBS Studio log when asking for help
