Ever since OBS 32 my monitoring device has been broken. It works fine on my end, and everything outside of OBS is perfect, but when a source is set to "Monitor and Output" it instead acts as though it is set to "Monitor Only (mute output)." I was able to fix it for a time by setting my monitoring device to something else other than what it was set to prior to the update (it was on "Cable-D" so I set it to "Cable-C" to fix it) however that is now not working as well. I have changed almost nothing since the update other than trying to make Cable-C work as the monitoring device. I posted in a different forum about this issue, but was not given a solution beyond "mute the source and then unmute it" which did not work. The only solution I can think of is to use a plugin by Exeldro to monitor my audio which would be insanely inconvenient at this point. Others have been having similar issues, as I said there was another forum post, and as I was typing this live other people in chat said they had a similar issue that still has yet to be solved.
I understand this is kind of a niche thing, most streamers don't use a separate monitoring device and instead have all audio broadcasting, which is probably why there isn't a louder outcry about it, however for those that this applies it is insanely inconvenient to lose access to a monitoring device that you've used for years.
Here's a log of the still on-going stream: https://obsproject.com/logs/lo2VuEbV66DOkKMB
I am on Windows 10 still.
