Bug Report Microphone appears unmute though muted

I wanna record my Dota 2 games without any commentary so I wanna mute my microphone but it seems that I can't. Whenever I mute it, I still can create sound using my microphone...

Are you using your microphone through a video capture source, or are you using it through the audio settings? If using it through the audio settings, there's no reason why it shouldn't mute. Does the volume bar affect it at all?
