Another user had this same issue today. Did you recently update the firmware on your LGP?

yeah i updated to the firmware version 21 they had on their website

Tried the LGP on another computer, same problem

Well, unless you actually are the same user who dropped by the chat, I would say that this is likely to be an issue with the new firmware for the device, or the device may be faulty.

Either way, I suggest contacting AVerMedia about it, there's nothing we can do about faulty firmwares or drivers.

I ran into this same problem. Was using the PCI Live Gamer card with no issues...swapped over to try the LGP and it just hangs anytime you try to access properties while in preview. If I stop the stream or disable the capture device it's fine. This really makes using it with OBS a show stopper. The LGP shows as running Firmware v23 (out of box). The latest firmware on their website is listed as v22 and a couple years old.
