Question / Help League of legends displays 200 fps in window mode, but isn't

Hello, I am playing league and when I use this program to stream the second I click the "Start streaming" button, my league game will appear to me as whatever fps I have set in the OBS options for my streamers to see. It is really frusterating as I am used to a high fps where it is perfectly smooth. The fps counter in-game does not drop at all, it still displays a very high fps, but visually to me I can tell it looks like whatever I am streaming at. I am wondering if there are any options I can change for this to improve. I changed to 120 fps in the settings and this did help a lot but it is still not perfectly smooth, something seems to be hampering it.

edit: never mind. Fixed the issue, Used "in game capture" mode instead of "software Capture"

Sounds like you are using monitor capture. Avoid it if you can and use game capture.

I prefer "Software Capture" of my desktop, and then playing my games on Borderless.

Just so much more convenient and I don't notice any kind of performance loss. It's all the same for me.

If you do use monitor capture when playing LoL make sure you use V-Sync.
