Bug Report iRacing Recording Doesn't Want to Work

So this seems to be a recurring issue according to the forums. I've been trying to record iRacing videos all afternoon, and it just hasn't worked. I run iRacing fullscreen on a single monitor, so as far as I can tell, I have two options for a source: Monitor Capture and Game Capture.
When I try using Monitor, nothing crashes, everything looks like it's running fine, until I go back and check the recording afterwards. The entire time iRacing is on the screen, the recording is black, with only audio being recorded. Whenever I switch out of iRacing, the picture comes back, whether it be my web browser or my desktop. It only goes black when iRacing is up.
When I try using Game, it crashes iRacing. I start up iRacing, AltTab out to OBS, make sure everything is started with my hotkey, and as soon as I AltTab back into iRacing, the game crashes. I have tried starting the recording while the game is up on the screen, and the instant I press my hotkey to start the recording, the game crashes.
Again, I know there have been a few posts about this made a while ago. So as of now, has this been addressed at all, or is it still just a standing bug that we have to deal with?

The other post was about OBS crashing, not the game. If the game itself is crashing, it usually means interference, though right now there are some issues with 64bit directx games. I would recommend setting the game to 32bit if it's at all possible.

If you mean the crash report for the game, I couldn't tell you where it is. I need to ask around first, then I'll be able to post it. I don't think it's possible to switch the game to 32-bit.
