Bug Report Incompatible with Vista?

Hello, I have searched through a few how to's on streaming on twitch. They all brought me to OBS, so I decided to give it a try. I opened up the installer, however before it installed it told me that I needed a Windows Vista platform update, and it brought me to the page that would update it for me. When I attempted the platform update it said that I did not need it for whatever reason. (I assume I already have it as I keep my computer relatively updated) So I went back to the OBS installer which had apparently closed. When I opened it back up again it did the exact same thing. This kept on repeating. Sorry I do not have any screenshots, I will try to upload some later tonight. Any help very much appreciated!

You can try downloading the .zip (no-installer version) and run it manually. You may experience problems though if the update is indeed missing.

Alright, that sounds like a possible solution. I do not have access to the computer I want it on for a while, but where can I find the .zip file? When I tried to do the update it said that it was not applicable to me, so I assume that I already have it.

There are currently some issues running on vista. You need to make sure vista is 100% updated in windows update. DirectX 9 games aren't 100% functional on vista either, and may capture somewhat slower.
