Question / Help HIGH Setting for output files only

hi there,

Just want to know what i need to adjust to get a HIGH HD video just for output file?
not for streaming rather just saving my game plays etc for editing later?

atm my resolution is FullHD and i downscale to 720p as per tutorial.
bitrate i have it on 1000-2000 which makes not much difference.
quality i have it on 10.

is this the best already?
