Hey, I'm new to OBS been using XSplit for a long time but started to try out OBS this weekend and I'm liking what I have seen this far. I only have one problem that forces me to stay with XSplit but I'm sure you can help me.
When I stream I get good audio from my mic and from any music if I play a song or two while streaming, but when I talk to other people on Ventrilo I can hear them just fine but people listening to the stream can almost not hear them at all. They only hear them if they listen for it very carefully or if they turn up the volume of there speakers to really high levels (where my voice or the music if I'm playing any get far to high). And I cant turn up the volume of ventrilo on the computer to any higher levels then I already have without my ears bursting from other people talking there.
When I use XSplit people speaking on Ventrilo is not heard at the same level as me but you can still gear them clearly without any problems.
I you could grade the volume in an scale from 1 - 10 I would say that using XSplit my voice is an 8 and ventrilo is an 5, when using OBS my voice is an 8 and ventrilo is 2.
