Question / Help Frame drop question

Hello all!

My current setup is an AMD Phenom 2 x4 black edition, 3.2ghz quad
8gb Ripjaw ram
Nvidia GeForce GTX 560ti
Several different HDD.

My question is this: Whenever I try to record Tomb Raider or League of Legends, I get a massive frame rate drop and my recorded video is jumpy. I don't know if it should be doing that. Any of you record/stream league and would like to share your setting? Have any recommended settings?

Thanks in advance!

Upload is 1.8mbs

I wasn't streaming, only saving the output to a file.

I'm unaware of what else I should use.
if you're just doing a simple local game recording then i suggest that you right click and remove monitor capture.

if you have to be using it though then make a new scene and add it there separately. one other thing is you should go to settings> video and turn aero off then restart obs.
