Bug Report Driver Crash? (File Output mode)

Hi! I'm quite new to OBS and I've been trying to use it to record local gameplay. Unfortunately, after a while i get the "drivers have stopped responding and have recovered" error.

I did my final test and have concluded that it is OBS related. Last night I recorded two 40 minute sessions in a row, but before I could stop the second one, it crashed. Afterwards, I played the game for around the same amount of time without recording.. everything ran smoothly.
I checked my cpu and gpu temps after the crash.. both were around 60c (140f)

Here are my PC specs (using speccy):

(I'm going to apply a proper coat of thermal paste after posting)
Here is my OBS setup:

I think I may have nailed it down to 2/4 possible causes.
1. Overheating cpu/gpu or both
2. Too much load on cpu/gpu or both.

I have searched for people all over with the same problem, but I've only found people that are streaming.. not local recording. Any help would be great, even just someone looking over my settings and suggesting changes.

PS. I have included a log file (the largest in file size) from yesterday, unfortunately I was testing NVENC to see if that would fix my problem and as you can guess.. it didnt.
Thanks in advance.

PPS. If I figure out my issue on my own (or with help), I'll post here first.

Recording and streaming are pretty much the same thing except one saves to disk and one goes over the network, so you can use the same fixes as other people have been using for Witcher 3.

It doesn't just occur in witcher 3 though. It also occurred in GTA 5, Homeworld 2 (remastered and original), and even Half-Life 2

The same concept applies. Any stressful game may stress an unstable GPU to failure.

Alright, I'm assuming factory overclock can make a gpu to become unstable. Maybe ill have to downclock it. (Also, hl2 aint a stressful game.. its 10 years old. Same goes for homeworld which is 15 years old).

I applied a new coat of thermal paste, I'm going to try recording again but this time monitor my gpu/cpu temps at the same time. I'm also going to change Max Bitrate and Buffer Size to 30000, and update DirectX.
By the way, did the log file do anything for you?
