Bug Report Crash due to Desktop Audio Device

Hi

Background: So I have my audio running through Voice Meeter, which allows me to create separate audio streams for Dxtory, one for comms (Teamspeak, Skype etc) and one for default desktop audio. These then get merged together to the audio device that comes out to my headphones (Speakers (Realtek HD Audio)).

As OBS does not allow multiple audio streams I set the Speakers (Realtek HD Audio) to be the Desktop Audio Device. However, when I click "Preview Stream", OBS crashes with the error:

"Cannot initialize desktop audio sound, more info in the log file"

I have attached the log file.

Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

I have the exact same issue and I also use Voicemeeter. OBS doesn't recognize the virtual outputs from Voicemeeter any longer. I always had OBS mic/aux channel audio set to Voicemeeter output.
