Whenever I try either preview or start streaming, I get an error that says Could Not Get DXGI Adapter. After that, it immediately closes. Anyone else come across this one? What does it mean?

same problem here.

And the soft recognize no video devices. Don't know what to do,
a bit of help would be much appreciated.

This probably means your DirectX install is damaged or modified in some way, as this should never happen on a correctly configured DirectX.

How would I repair my Directx install? It's weird, because it only happens on builds past .42, which I can use with no problem.

Hi R1CH

Do you mean apps/overlays like Fraps or Manycam should not be running with OBS?

And same question as Narzack. How to repair properly the DX install? (I tried updates w/o success!)

FRAPS should not be running (or open, showing the counter) at the same time. FRAPS also hooks into the game to display the counter in the same-ish manner as OBS, which can cause problems when they're both trying to do it at the same time.

I used the AMD cleanup utility, then rebooted, then ran the latest Catalyst drivers- beta 13.6. and OBS seems to be working properly.
