Question / Help Can't add sources to scene

if I click edit scene nothing happens. It's as if the button doesn't do anything. Yes I have it previewing

Edit scene is for moving existing sources. Read the help file or the quickstart guides in the guides forum for basic scene setup instructions.

Yeah I can't add anything to the scene. It's black and adding global sources doesn't do anything.
