Bug Report Cam suddenly does not show anymore (not a red space)

Hi all!

Since today (and after doing nothing but just reboot my computer) my webcam suddenly does not show anymore.
OBS recognises the camera, it adds it as a source, but when I go in to preview & edit mode, all I get is the red outline, an no image. As if the entire thing is chroma-keyed out.

Not really sure on how to fix this, any help would be appreciated.

No, the camera is not used by any other program

Try reducing the resolution of the camera.

I had the same issue lately. The webcam screen did not appear when I started to stream/record.
Restarting OBS solved the issue.

I ended up just re-installing my computer, its not to much effort.
After that it actually loaded up my Cam 1x, aftrer I tried adding my 2nd camera, the program, failed to repond.
Upon restarting the program, not a single cam is displayed anymore (although it is recognized)

Also just tried to re-install OBS, which seems to make no difference.

Sounds like you're overloading your USB hub and it's shutting off. Try moving the cams to separate buses (check with device manager) or reduce resolutions.
