Whenever I have Minecraft running on my dedicated graphics card, the video ends up distorted as shown in the included image. It seems to record fine when running on the APU processor.

Minecraft runs OpenGL through the Java LWJGL library.

Laptop: MSI GX70
Processor: AMD A10-5750M APU w/ Radeon HD 8650G
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 8970M
RAM: 8GB

Using AMD Catalyst driver version 14.4

Here it is. I don't see anything that indicates something wrong in the log though.

Note, this is running Windows 8.1. The log file is saying it's Windows version 6.2.9600 when it should be 6.3.9600.

To clarify, I'm only having this problem with Minecraft, All of my other games record fine when running off the dedicated graphics.
I don't know if it's something with OpenGL or LWJGL as Minecraft is the only OpenGL game I have currently.

I think the texture is being stored differently for that particular driver, and when OBS accesses the texture, it causes it to have that appearance because OBS is using directx. This is very unusual. Could you try deleting your shader cache?

1.) Close OBS if it's open
2.) Go to start/run (or press windows key + R on windows 8 to open up 'run..')
3.) Type this in and press OK: %appdata%\obs
4.) Delete the 'shaderCache' folder

And see if that affects the result or anything. However I'm not sure if it will help, it's just an idea. Are your drivers up to date otherwise? Sounds like you're implying that they are up to date at the moment.

btw, I am using the latest stable Catalyst drivers, version 14.4 released 4/24/2014. I ran some tests with Action!, Dxtory, Fraps, and MSI Afterburner. They all seem to capture Minecraft ok on that card.
