Been trying to set up a stream on Twitch of me playing a game, but all it gives me when I try to stream is a black box. Desktop streaming btw. Here's my log

that resolution and fps are too much for your cpu.
downscale more and lower the fps to 25.

try running the game in full screen mode (should only show up on obs when you alt+tab back to it).

Pretty sure you will have to play that one in some sort of window mode and use Window Capture to stream.

Will try that, but keep in mind it's not just FO1, but everything else is blacking out as well.

EDIT: At the risk of sounding stupid, what is "Window Capture"? I can't seem to find that as a listed option.

game capture is currently designed to only work with directx 9 and newer games. doesn't work 100% of the time though.

you have to first enable aero (transparent theme) for window capture to work optimally. then add a new software capture source and select window capture when given the choice.

Software Capture>Window Capture as opposed to Monitor Capture. Inner Window is generally what you want.
