Question / Help Black Screen when Game Recording Hitman: Absolution

Hi there, I get nothing but a black screen when I try to preview my recordings, before I start Actually game recording, as I am hoping to upload a series to YouTube, but whenever I try, all I get is a black screen? So is there a way of fixing it? I've tried disabling vsync, and etc...

8600 GTS? Does window capture work?

Nope tried that, but I do know that it does work with Fraps, and my friend tested his xsplit with it. And it works.

XSplit and Fraps are different programs and not comparable to OBS. 8600GTS still has full Directx10 support. What game are you trying to record?
